Choir Tour 2010- Day Seven

The final day of tour has arrived and after a leisurely breakfast, we drove to Springfield, Missouri where we sang at Woodland Manor. The senior citizens there were very glad to see us and excited about the concert. Due to limited space, the choir sang from the kitchen, facing the activities room (it was hard keeping the guys out of the refrigerator). The choir enjoyed visiting with the residents after the concert had ended.

We then traveled to Joplin for lunch at North Park Mall. After leaving the mall, the rest of the day was filled with lots of journal-signing, sleeping, singing and fellowshipping on the buses. We were delayed several times because of construction in Oklahoma, but now it is great to be back in Texas! Another great tour comes to an end with a lot of great ministry opportunities and spur of the moment mini concerts. We appreciate all the adults and chaperones who joined us on the trip and a big thank you to Candy Cooper for coordinating the trip!
