Choirs meet in Arlington, Texas. Students live and commute from 24 cities, 33 zip codes, 80 miles apart from North to South and East to West with 25+ Evangelical Christian Churches represented!
Joining the Choir
Choir Goals
- Enriching each student’s musical experience by providing a wholesome choir atmosphere for the purpose of honoring the Lord through uplifting choral music.
- Enhancing the public’s appreciation of the products of home educating families.
- Teaching proper vocal technique and choral reading
- Providing opportunities for the choir to perform on a regular basis at local churches, retirement homes, home school functions and civic events.
- Building lasting friendships among choir members, that incorporates an emphasis on ministry, serving the Lord and one another.
Reflections Concert Choir Membership Requirements
- The student must be home educated or living at home and assisting with family schooling
- Must be 13 years old by September 1st
- Written testimony of personal relationship with Jesus Christ (turned in with application)
- Parent Attendance at Parent Orientation meeting

- Regular attendance at rehearsals and concerts
- A sincere desire to learn proper choral technique
- Striving for excellence in presentation and performance
- Respecting all those in authority
- Following all guidelines
Snapshots Membership requirements
- Must be 6 years old by Sept. 1
- Parent attendance at Parent Orientation Meeting
Early Images Membership Requirements
- Must be 9 years old by Sept. 1

- Parent attendance at Parent Orientation meeting

Choir Policies and Guidelines
Monthly Fees
- The payment of monthly fees will be due at the first rehearsal of each month
- There will be a $5 late fee when payments are received after the 2nd rehearsal
- Monthly fees must be paid regardless of absences
- Checks are fine
- When paying cash, please have it in an envelope clearly marked with amount and student name(s)
Behavior
- No disrespectful language or actions
- No misuse of others property
- No playing around during rehearsals
- No cell phone calls, texting or playing games during rehearsals
- No flirtatious actions or display of affection to members of the opposite gender (outside your family)
- Please respect the rehearsal facility and it’s furnishings
- Do not leave backpacks, clothes, etc. at Grace Baptist – carry out with you what you bring
- Please make sure to use the restroom before or after the rehearsal as needed, not during if possible
- Students must have a respectful attitude at all rehearsals and choir functions towards those in positions of authority
Dress
- Students NEED to arrive at rehearsals and concerts in complete and appropriate attire and remain so upon leaving (NO CHANGING AT REHEARSAL OR CONCERT FACILITIES)
- Choir polo shirts are to be worn at all rehearsals (tucked in to skirt or slacks with belts- men)
At Rehearsals
Young Ladies
- Khaki skirts are to be worn at all rehearsals – must be mid calf (which means – half way between the knee and ankle), no slits (you may add a kick pleat if needed), loose fitting
- Sandals, casual dress shoes and tennis shoes may be worn. No flip-flops
- No facial piercing and only one ear ring per ear (no multiple piercing)
Young Men
- Khaki slacks are to be worn at all rehearsals (Dockers are acceptable)
- Casual dress shoes, tennis shoes or Boots may be worn. No sandals or flip-flops
- Conservative haircuts (above the collar and above the ears), clean-shaven, no piercing
Attendance
- Make every effort to be at all rehearsals and concerts
Miscellaneous Information
- Early Image students who will be staying during Reflections rehearsals must have Parental supervision or an assigned responsible adult
- Students are welcome to play on the Church playground (when supervised by an adult)
Mr. Armstrong, Mrs. Armstrong, Miss Ashley, Miss Rebecca, Miss Elizabeth (or any other designated adult) will have authority to enforce all guidelines at rehearsals
