About The Accompanists
Miss Ashley Dean, accompanist for Reflections, is the eldest of six children and was home educated through all her school years. She is involved in Bible Study Fellowship and enjoys scrap-booking, sewing, and photography.
Music has always been an important part of Ashley’s spiritual growth, beginning with her father’s hymns and Bible stories. She has played piano for nineteen years and is the pianist for her church, New Life Family Church. Ashley teaches private piano and violin, accompanies instrumentalists, and was a member of Reflections Concert Choir
until the fall of 2005. She was also the accompanist for Early Images Preparatory Choir for nine years and is currently a member of Impressions Chorale. This is her third year to accompany Reflections and her second year to direct Reflections Handbell Choir.
Miss Rebekah Durling, accompanist for Early Images, is the eldest of five daughters and was home educated through all of her school years. God has graciously given Rebekah seven years of piano study, which has enabled her to accompany small groups as well as playing piano solos. Rebekah also enjoys gardening, especially herbs for medicinal purposes. She has been a member of Reflections Concert Choir form January 2005 through the spring of 2010, where she learned vocal and music reading skills. Rebekah is a member of Impressions Chorale and is beginning her 2nd year as accompanist for Early Images.
Miss Elizabeth Sanders, accompanist for Snapshots, is the eldest of four children, and has been home educated through all her schooling. Music has always been an important part of her life and she wishes to glorify GOD through both her playing and teaching. Elizabeth has played the piano for 11 years and has taught private piano lessons for 4 years. In addition, Elizabeth teaches the Snapshots theory class, plays the guitar, and has been a member of Reflections Concert Choir since 2007. Elizabeth will begin her second year with Snapshots this fall.
Miss Hannah Cooper, accompanist for Impressions Chorale, is the youngest of three children, and has been home educated her entire life. She has always had a love for music and began her formal musical training with the piano over 10 years ago. During that time she has participated in many festivals, theory tests and recitals. Hannah has also studied the harp for over 8 years and enjoys opportunities to play with other musicians or solo. She hopes to be a testimony to others of God’s love and joy by sharing the Gospel as she someday travels around the world playing her harp with different orchestras; but for right now, she enjoys staying at home and accompanying Impressions. In addition to the piano and harp, her hobbies include reading and writing. She has been in Reflections Concert Choir for the last 4 years, and was in Early Images for 4 years prior to that. Hannah will begin her second year with Impressions this summer.
